FlashForge is a Chrome extension that exports flashcards from Google NotebookLM to CSV format. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

FlashForge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No browsing history is tracked
• No analytics or telemetry data is gathered
• No cookies are used
• No data is sent to any external server

How It Works

FlashForge reads flashcard data directly from the NotebookLM page DOM when the user clicks the extension icon. The flashcard content is processed entirely within the user's browser and exported as a local CSV file. No data ever leaves the user's device.

Permissions

FlashForge requests the following browser permissions:

• activeTab — To access the current NotebookLM tab when the user clicks the extension icon
• scripting — To inject a script that reads flashcard data from the page
• Host access (notebooklm.google.com, *.usercontent.goog) — To access flashcard data embedded in NotebookLM's cross-origin iframes

These permissions are used solely for extracting flashcard data and serve no other purpose.

Third-Party Services

FlashForge does not use any third-party services, APIs, or tracking tools.

Data Sale and Transfer

We do not sell, trade, or transfer any user data to third parties. There is no user data to sell, as we do not collect any.
